I finally got the Atlas power hacksaw working thanks to a donated electric motor from Lee. The belts that I had were both too long so I had to improvise. I took some scrap wood that was laying around and used it to mount the motor a bit farther such that the belt was tight. Lee had installed a power cord so I was able to test it pretty easily. I intend to install a switch on it later, but for now I can just plug it into the switched wall outlet that I wired up for the Taig. I took a video to demonstrate the saw in action using my cellphone. My cellphone is junk so the video is pretty low quality, but I was too lazy to walk the fifty feet required to get my camera so it is what it is.

This blog is an attempt to describe, in as much detail is I can muster, the DIY projects that I attempt to do. The failures, along with the successes will be posted. Hopefully there will be more of the latter than the former, but I guarantee nothing.
